North Park construction under way
Claremore ,Oklahoma, April 21, 2004 - Doctors held a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday for North Park Medical Campus, located on 25 acres at U.S. 66 and Lowry Road, in Claremore, Oklahoma.
"The North Park Medical Campus will bring our Claremore residents the needed medical services they have previously sought in Tulsa," said Larry Hrdlicka, a long time Claremore physician.
The 120,000-square-foot campus will include an ambulatory surgical center, heliport, diagnostic facility, cancer treatment center, medical office building, pharmacy, medical supply store, and retail center, which will include restaurants, banks, business offices and shops. Investors include local physician groups who will be among the tenants.
"Our combined talent of superb Claremore physicians, joined by radiology oncologists and other specialists, will provide even more services for our community," Hrdlicka said.
The first phase of the medical campus will be a 17,000-square-foot ambulatory surgical center and a 25,000-square-foot diagnostic and medical office building.
The North Park surgery center is set for completion in October, and will be managed by Atlanta-based Alliance Surgery, in partnership with local physicians.
OMNI Medical Group of Tulsa will occupy the 25,000-square-foot diagnostic and medical office building, which is scheduled for completion by the end of the year.
The retail center could by finished as early as March 2005.
The campus is designed to accommodate a full spectrum of medical services in a park-like campus setting. The medical facilities will provide the latest in laboratory and imaging equipment available. Each building will be interconnected via high-speed voice, data and fiber optics network, and a heliport will be provided for emergency flight transport.
